As our Waberthwaite Cumberland sausage contains a small amount (2%) of rusk it cannot be guaranteed suitable for some people with severe food allergies and intolerances. Our Gluten free sausage was developed approximately 25 years ago to solve this problem. Containing only pork, salt, white and black pepper it has a somewhat less spicy flavour than the Cumberland and has proved a welcome addition to the diet of many people who have been unable to eat sausages for many years.
